Reynolds: Rizzo Wrap

How do you bring innovation to a 70-year-old product that never changes? You create it. A longtime partner of the Cubs, Reynolds decided to do something memorable to celebrate the team’s first world series win in over 100 years. In honor of Cubs first baseman, Anthony Rizzo, we changed the product’s name to Rizzo Wrap. Announced at a press conference on April Fool’s Day, many fans thought it was a joke. But on April 2nd the brand confirmed that Rizzo Wrap would be available for purchase in Summer 2017. News outlets picked up the story and fans went wild, desperate to get their hands on a box. Anthony Rizzo (aka Chef Rizzo) showed off his cooking chops and promoted the product with a series of digital recipe videos.
